Location

Sofitel Barú Cartagena Beach Resort is located on the eastern coast of Isla Barú, a tropical Caribbean retreat accessible by sea or land.

From Rafael Núñez International Airport, the journey takes approximately 65–80 minutes, combining a 20-minute private car transfer to Club Náutico de Manga with a 45–60-minute catamaran journey. Alternatively, the resort is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes away by car, subject to traffic conditions.

We offer shared and private transportation options. Shared sea transfers include transportation to the pier, followed by a catamaran journey featuring open-air spaces, air-conditioned interiors, a sun deck, restrooms and luggage storage.

Sea transfers start from COP 370,000 per adult, per way, while land transfers start from COP 390,000 per adult, per way. An additional surcharge applies to land transfers between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Private transportation is available upon request and must be arranged in advance.
